After a long day of fence building, Taylor and Micah were in their pj's ready for bed. Of course, Canaan was there to supervise!

Building Fences

On Saturday, Drew and Collin were building our fence. Canaan and Micah thought they could help. I think Canaan might have even been giving Micah some tips on how to use the hammer.

Tulips

We took Micah yesterday to see the tulips. He had lots of fun running around in the dirt. Although, he would have really liked it if we let him pick the tulips!

"The fact that I am a woman does not make me a different kind of Christian, but the fact that I am a Christian does make me a different kind of woman. For I have accepted God’s idea of me, and my whole life is an offering back to Him of all that I am and all that He wants me to be."
–Elisabeth Elliot

I stole this quote off a girl from Master's blog. Her blog was so insigtful and this quote from Elisabeth Elliot means a lot to me. As a Christian women, we do need to be different. I may not be able to do everything that the world has to offer, but I can do everything that God wants me to do and be completely happy.

Today I am just thankful that I get to stay at home with Micah and raise him to be a child of God. I am so thankful that God has allowed me the priveledge of staying home with him and for a husband who has allowed me and wanted me to stay at home. I just pray that I too will be able to serve God and be "all that He wants me to be".

Port Townsend

We took a few trips this week with Drew's parents. I took them to La Conner and Lynden. On Friday, Drew got to come and we went to Port Townsend. It was a gorgeous day there! Micah enjoyed the ferry ride and the beautiful sunny weather! Port Townsend is so pretty!

Buell Easter

Drew's parents and his brother Ryan came for a week long visit. We enjoyed having them here. Micah especially enjoyed all the attention. He really likes Uncle Ryan who can always make him laugh.

Micah has been terrified of the grass until yesterday. He actually walked on it, although he may have been a little hesitant!
