Micah reading...

There is nothing like reading a good book with a San Diego Chargers jersey on and a big fat lamb to cuddle with...

Micah being a boy...come on pumpkin move!

We can't resist going back to Schuh Farms. Today we went with Rebekah and Scott and their adorable kids. It was so freezing outside, but we managed to take a few pictures:)

When I used to teach 4th grade one of the other teachers was an amazing cook/baker. He gave me this recipe and I have been making them ever since:) They are really easy to make and they are so yummy!

M&M Popcorn Balls

4 T butter
1 10 oz. bag of mini marshmallows
1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
3 Quarts popcorn, popped
1 cup of plain or peanut M&M's

1. Melt butter in a pot over low heat. Add marshmallows and brown sugar; stir continuously until melted. Remove from heat.

2. Pour popcorn and M&M's into pot; toss well. With buttered hands, shape into 2 1/2 inch balls. Set on wax paper to dry slightly.

Poll

I put a poll up on the right of my blog. Vote to tell us whether you think we are having a boy or girl. My husband is convinced its a girl, but that might be wishful thinking:) Either way we will be blessed to have another child. So please vote!

Funny thing...

Actually, I think I really am showing a little bit. I just thought this was funny...and of course I always think Im showing way before other people notice it:)

Drew's parents came for a visit so we took them to the pumpkin patch. Micah had fun running around and seeing the pumpkins and animals.

Micah this year at the pumpkin patch.

This was taken last year when we went to the pumpkin patch. Micah was just 9 months in this picture. He sure has grown!

We took Micah to the pumpkin patch the other day. I noticed in this picture that my belly is sticking out more than usual....especially after I eat:)

Poor Micah!

Drew was gone this past weekend on a JH Retreat in Issaquah, Washington (which is about 2 hours away from where we live). So, when he is gone I always lock the door that is inbetween my pantry and the garage. The only problem with that is when you open that door from the inside, it stays locked. That is why I keep a spare key in the garage for the many times that I lock myself in the garage. Well, I did it again on Saturday....but I had my key to open the door. Unfortunately, I didn't put it back in the garage. Sunday morning at around 8:30 I went in the garage to throw away a diaper. As soon as the door shut I remembered I didn't have a key to get back in my house...and Micah was inside playing. This wouldn't be too terrible but Drew is two hours away. I went next door and tried calling some locksmiths but they didn't answer the phone cause its Sunday morning. To make a long story short, I had to go to several neighbors houses who then managed to get my door open by using some tools and prying it open. Thank God for my neighbors!! They were so sweet! Especially the ones next door to me who opened their door on a Sunday morning to see their neighbor crying because her son is locked in the house and she can't get in! Micah survived just fine. He didn't even make a mess. He was just playing on my bed. The Lord watched over us! And now I am going to make about 10 copies of my keys and place them in the garage and give them to my neighbors!
