Today it got up to 83 degrees! I hauled out the pool and put some warm water in it so Micah could play. He liked the pool, but his favorite is the hose. He loves to drink from it, touch the water, and water the plants like Mommy does. It is still really strange to me to think that 83 degrees is hot....so different from California...but so much nicer than 100 degrees! We love Washington's summers!

Glad you found our blog! Your pictures of Micah in the water are very cute, as well! Such a fun time of the year to be outside running around! To answer your question, we were at Kyak Pt. which is in south Stanwood. Really easy to get to if you want directions. You pay $5 everytime you go (unless you pay for an annual membership) but it's nice as it's always clean and the new playground is great for the kiddos! Hope you're enjoying the sunshine and we'll probably see you soon at church! :)
